The new TP2 Emergency Rechargeable Battery Back-up System is now available with all Celebrity Riser Recliners and Sherborne Upholstery Riser Chairs. Its purpose is to ensure that your chair will still operate in the event of a power cut.

The new TP2 system incorporates larger capacity rechargeable batteries that are constantly charging while the power to the chair is on, this ensures the batteries are always fully charged should they be required.

In the event of a mains supply failure, the new optional TP2 Emergency Rechargeable Battery Pack will take over as the power source for your Riser Recliner Chair and will give up to 10 lifts before the need to recharge. 

When power is restored the batteries will automatically recharge.

A basic battery back up pack is supplied with all Celebrity Riser Recliners and Sherborne Upholstery Riser Chairs. This pack consists of 2 x 9 Volt batteries which have enough power to slowly return your chair to a seated position once only should your mains power fail. After this you must replace the batteries.

Even if the batteries have not been used you will need to replace them.
