Because we supply recliners manufactured by a wide range of companies, the length of individual warranties on our recliners varies a great deal. However all our recliners come with a minimum 12 month warranty (British made recliners normally have a 5 Year warrany).

Warranty Issues

If during the warranty period your chair should develop a problem we require photographs of the fault which you may email to us along with a description at Alternatively you may post them to us with an accompanying letter specifying the details. Whichever method you choose we will require an invoice number from you as proof of purchase.
If after the warranty period has expired and a fault develops, parts can usually be sent direct from the manufacturer.
If it should become necessary to return the product to the factory for repairs, the cost of packing and shipping to and from the factory is not covered in the warranty. Most repairs can be made in your home. Evidence of original ownership such as a sales invoice or other document will be required.
The warranty shall not apply to any condition or defect resulting from mis-useage, negligence, alterations, fire or accident.

Riser Recliners Info

Nothing epitomises 'The Recliner Store' more than the superb range of Electric Riser Recliner Chairs.
This is because we recognise that, for people who have difficulty getting in and out of conventional furniture, to have the opportunity to possess their very own Riser Recliner can make a huge difference to their freedom and quality of life.
So on these website pages you can view no less than 50 different models, all with fully lifting and fully reclining actions.
Most designs offer the choice of the finest Dual Motor and Single Motor mechanisms and seven of these also offer a choice in size.

What is the difference between a Single Motor and a Dual Motor Riser Recliner?

Single Motor Action

The smooth and easy Single Motor action uses a two-button handset, which enables the footrest to be partly raised before the back starts reclining. It also allows the sleeping position to be reached (less reclined than on Dual Motor designs) from a starting position only 10cm (4") from the wall.

The Dual Motor Action

Using the five-button handset, the sophisticated Dual Motor mechanism enables you to control the backrest and footrest independently to reach the exact position you want including a near-horizontal full sleeping position (needs a 38cm (15") gap from the wall).

Both Single Motor and Dual Motor actions lift and tilt the Recliner forwards so that getting in and out is the easiest thing imaginable.
